Play. Hydrate. Repeat.
Designerds had the opportunity to design and brand a new product, the DRYE Fan — a complete system to fully and
quickly dry hydration bladders — keeping them fresher, safer,
and more storable. We created a flexible brand system that
can grow with the company, supported packaging design,
a DTC website, Amazon presence, and social media content,
as well as directed a product photoshoot.
The reception at launch has been astounding, garnering media attention and positive feedback from customers.

A brand with momentum
The DRYE logo and brand system mirrors the product itself — the “E” becomes three dynamic lines in forward motion, symbolizing the air current the fan produces that rapidly drys your hydration reservoir. The brand system remains flexible and scalable if more DRYE products are ever introduced.

Explaining a brand new product
Though quite simple to use, a new-to-market product like DRYE needed some explanation. We provided technical illustrations for the included instruction manual, as well as 3d renders and animatics for usage across web and social channels.

A modular packaging solution
The initial packaging for the DRYE kit needed to be secure enough to ship directly to customers in, but eye-catching enough to stand out on retail shelves. To add to the complexity, the current product fits a limited selection of hydration reservoirs, but the brand plans to quickly expand — so we devised a system of sticker labels to solve this issue.

Building the web and social media ecosystem
Designerds produced all the assets for and built the DRYE website on Shopify. We created animations, explainer videos, custom photography, and illustrations to show customers how quickly DRYE solves their problems. We reinforce this messaging across social channels and email marketing through thoughtful brand storytelling.

Launching the DRYE brand
We debuted the new product at the Outdoor Retailer Convention in 2026, creating physical assets in addition to digital — a booth, branded merch and marketing materials. Both the design and the product made a splash: attendees frequently commented on the high level of design polish, and DRYE took home the award for “Buyer’s Choice”.
